Kraftverk invited ten contemporary craftspeople to move into Sven-Harry’s Art Museum and create temporary working studios. Visitors encountered the colour of the florist’s workshop, the smell of wood and metal at the axe smith’s bench and the sound of needles beside the tattoo artist’s chair.

Created in collaboration with Stockholms Hantverksförening for its 175th anniversary, the exhibition explored how knowledge, materials and traditions are carried forward. Live practice turned the museum into a place to watch, listen, touch, smell and talk — bringing together floristry, tailoring, wallpaper making, illustration, paper art, mural painting, shoemaking, doll making, tattooing and metalwork.
