Skogen
An immersive exhibition about Sweden’s forests — Tekniska museet, Stockholm
Skogen takes visitors along winding paths through seven forest clearings, moving between spiritual space, ecology, industry and innovation. Trees, rolling forms, sound, film and changing light create a sensory journey in which the forest becomes both subject and storyteller.
Developed over 18 months and opened in May 2024, the exhibition explores our relationship with the forest through four themes: value, ownership, time and innovation. Research institutions, forest owners, companies and individuals contributed knowledge, while the design makes complex questions accessible to visitors of all ages.
